Involved in an Accident?

Call our shop or call one of our reliable tow trucks, L&B Towing or Kennedy Towing, and have them tow your vehicle to the accident reporting center or directly to Impera Body and Paint Shop. Finally, call your insurance company.

Ten things to know before having your vehicle repaired...

  1. Preserve your cars value and safety by having it repaired professionally
  2. Never drive a car that could be unsafe because of damages
  3. Some insurance companies may want you to visit their drive-in claims center before having your car repaired. You can do this, or you may leave your car at your collision repair shop and ask the insurance company to inspect the car there.
  4. You are not required by law to obtain more than one estimate or appraisal
  5. You have the right to go to the repair shop of your choice. Your insurance company cannot require you to go to a shop of their choice.
  6. Differences in repair estimates are common. A lower estimate may not include all necessary work. If you are not sure why one estimate is different from another you have received, ask the shop manager.
  7. Choose a shop that has uni-body repair equipment with certified technicians and also is accredited by the Toronto Licensing Commission.
  8. Ask if the shop will be using genuine manufacturer (OEM) replacement parts.
  9. Ask if the repair shop offers a warranty
  10. When involved in an accident, have the tow truck at the scene bring your car to the accident-reporting center and leave the car there until the repair shop of your choice has been notified.
